I was reading the December issue of Electrical Contractor magazine and saw a question regarding wiring a 277 light and a 120 volt fan on the same switch. The response was that the switch needs to be listed as "2-circuit".
Am I missing something here? Isn't there a requirement for two circuits on the same yoke to be disconnected simultaneously? How is this possible when the lights and the fan are fed from two different panels?
