I will be installing 125 single room thru the wall heat pump units. I will be using 277v power source but per the NEC 440.60, I would have to hard wire it instead of using a receptacle. The manufacture could supply a sub base with a receptacle & plug concealed in it. I'm concerned about meeting the NEC requirements. Has anybody run into this situation? I could maybe install a disc. switch in the sub base. I'm up for any suggestions.
Thanks,
