If you mean on a single phase 120-0-120 system, I think no, because the diagram shows one line as a neutral. It is probably expecting that line to be grounded.

Thank you very much. I am asking for single phase 230V system that contains phase, neutral and ground cables.

That spec sheet shows either 120V or 277V. Some things will run on voltages from 120V up to 277V, but they will say that. The one the OP has says one or the other, not a range in between. The 120V would run off of either a 240/120V or 280/120V, the 277V would run off of a 480V system. Both of these would require a hot leg and neutral. I'm not sure if the neutral is required but 230-240V may be too low for the power supply to the light.

Since the neutral goes directly to the light one is required. The sensor can accept either 120 volts or 277 volts. I'm guessing that with either input voltage it changes the output to the light to the same voltage.
