3/C to three 1/C Splicing

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone has any experience splicing a 3/C 5kV shielded cable to three 1/C 5kV shielded cables? Does anyone know a manufacturer that makes a kit for that? I know 3M makes one for splicing 3/C PILC cable to three 1/C EPR cables... but I'm talking about all EPR cable.

I have made many of these splices. Purchasing a trifurcating boot makes it easier but you have to know how to tape a MV splice. Most of the complete kits you find are to transition from PILC. I would try calling KVA supply in Denver. They may have a heat shrink kit but even these should be installed by an experienced splicer. They sell everything under the sun for medium voltage distribution.
