3 ground rods 6ft apart

How is it going guys. I have a question. I am installing 3 ground rods 6 ft apart. My question is does the wire have to in a continuous run or not? Thank you for the help.

No the GEC does not need to be continuous. The GEC runs to the first rod and from there you can individual bonding jumpers to the other two rods.

I’ve seen two inspectors so far that couldn’t understand that...
I just changed the wire and went on...
 
Never mind. Drive 3 and go home.
Plan designer must be a dirt worshiper. There is scant evidence that type of system is effective.
 
Some inspectors don't realize that need to use an irreversible splice on the GEC from a ground rod or building steel to the service disconnect applies only to that conductor. As others said, you can connect 10 more ground rods if you want, and each conductor from the first rod onward is a bonding jumper. That said, the GEC is sometimes looped through the first rod's clamp on to the other(s).
