Can I use a GFCI 2 pole 50 amp in a corner grounded delta panel for a 240 volt single phase hot tub ?

It would have to be a straight-rated 240V breaker, i.e. not slash-rated such as 120/240.

Not sure one is even manufactured.

[Time stamp makes it look like I'm being redundant rather than just concurring with AD. Fact is I pulled up the reply window prior to AD posting, had to leave my computer, but typed in my reply and posted when I returned without knowing AD already had it covered.]

They are manufactured, maybe not by all manufacturers in their "mini breaker" lines, I know they have them in the QO line, but my supply house doesn't even stock them and you don't want to know the price if you were to order one.

A 277/480 or even 600 volt rated breaker is also acceptable.

If you have corner grounded delta and existing panel - it would about have to have a panel that will accept a suitable breaker unless it was not code compliant to begin with.

Three pole breakers (in the 120/240 V series panels) are usually straight 240 volts and not 120/240 rated - so those would work as well you just have one pole not being used.
