I have a 1200 amp meter bank in the basement of a 5 story apartment building servicing 36 apartments...120/208 3 phase power is feeding it and the drawings show single phase power from the meter to each apartment...I am not that well versed in the capabilities of meters to determine is this is possible...I assume it is, but would like to hear from the forum ( for my own education)...

It's quite common.

Note, however, that for the individual apartment circuits the use of a standard single phase meter that does not have a connection for neutral voltage will produce an incorrect power reading whenever the load is unbalanced.

Im sure these meter banks will come with the fifth jaw installed. Once I installed a 3 gang socket and was not aware the utility was supplying the service with 2 phases of a three phase system. I had to go back and install the fifth jaw.
