I know that you can switch phase 1 and 3, that's all I read, Can I switch phase 1/w/2 or 2/w/3 or this is going to hurt the motor life time or in other way?
You can switch any of the phases, it can be ABC, BCA, CBA, ACB, BAC, or CAB, you must simply get the rotation right. It will have no bearing on the life or effeciency of a motor.
Just thought i would add to what Jim had said:
Oil pumps, Hydraulic pumps, Or any equipment that uses a oil pump that is directional, IE. some refrigeration equipment. can be very badly damaged by reversing the motor.
So you might want to check with a phase rotation meter before applying power.
I draw a circle and place A at 3 o'clock, B at 7 o'clock, and C at 11 o'clock. This is your phasor diagram. Regardless of which phase you start with, follow it around this clock and you will know your rotation. If you make a change, this diagram will tell you if your rotation has changed.
