I ran into a stairwell 3-way switch.1 at the bottom with a single pole to an outside light and 1 at the top of the stairs.the one at the bottom has a feed a load to the light and a jumper between the 2.the 3-way at the top has the jumper,a load to the light,a feed to a hard wired smoke and a continuous that I cannot find anywhere.i think it is cut off in the walls.the problem:this is all done with 14/2.the jumper between is only 1 14/2.the set up is ran off 1 breaker.i can eliminate the smoke if need be and the other continuous.how would I wire that back so it is somewhat safe?
