I'm looking for a manafacture of a 30-40 FOOTCANDLE PHOTOCELL @ 120V.
Tork and intermatic only have them in 1-5 FC.
I have seen 24v models but none at 120v.

Ummm, how about covering the window with something like a piece of window tint film? That comes in various densities and a scrap can be had for free.

I once built a lighting system with four stages based on lighing level outside.

Sign first, a few lights, then more lights, then high dollar lights last.

We had to use low voltage controls and relays. All available off the shelf. Not sure if I still have a drawing. We could not find 120 volt parts either.

I've sometimes had to color the "window" of the photocell with a black sharpie marker. It just leaves a black translucent film, sort of like window tint. I know that's not exactly calibrated to 30-40 footcandles, but I thought I'd pass that tip along anyhow. It has helped me out of a jam a few times when the photocell was located in a bad spot, receiving reflected light from the fixtures due to white painted surfaces nearby.
