A customer needs power for 8 outlets, plus two overhead door motors, lights, and a 30 amp 125 v RV in a detached garage. I can install a 30 amp 240 v panel fairly easily. (trenching 40 ft) Will this be enough power for him ? I will be trenching from another detached garage that has a 60 amp subpanel which is 120 feet from the house.) This detached garage is a 3 bay, with 3 overhead door motors and outlets and lights. My second question is, will it be ok to tap 30 amps from this first garage subpanel ? Thank you.

You need to do a load calculation for both garages. However at a guess the 60A feeder is sufficient for both garages, and I'd suggest running the full 60A from the first to the second.
