300.14 - extend ground conductor

For residential, we made a mistake,

We crimped the grounds together, and and left only one to extend 6" from box entry. As such, one of the ground conductors was cut off too short. So it is not meeting the 3" rule.

Any suggestions outside trying to pull more canle through - which at some location is not possible.

I see no real way to get around the 6"/3" requirement beyond hoping the inspector is having a good day.

If you crimp on only 1 piece of wire to exstend this short one i think most inspectors give you a break. Now if this is more than 1 or 2 boxes like this then he likely will be checking all your work. Nothing other than repulling will fix it right. Is this a rough inspection ?

Any slack in the cable you can pull up to give you a few more inches in the box?
