The designers ran 300V insulated cable into the 460V motor termination box where pigtails for thermostats are along side the phase conductors from the motor windings.
Not sure what they were thinking but just to confirm; The thermostat control wiring must be insulated to 600V same as the power conductors since it enters and terminates inside the same enclosure.

I think if the conductors are separated it is ok. Some kind of sleeve. Or maybe just get some 600 volt heat shrink.
