Do we have section in code says the direct burial MV cables for the same circuit shall be clamped together through equal distances? the client says that should be because of the small movement of cables during short circuit. This is something which is completely new for me:?.

Perhaps I'm not understanding the point of the client...???
The backfill should be enough to keep direct buried cables in place during a fault.

I don't recall anything like this in the code. There is some vague language about adequately securing things in several places.
Maybe it is something in their spec, or just a practice they engage in.
