Would you consider a 50 amp receptacle falling under this section. By simple verbage I would agree however the intent and use of this is: For a 6/4 soo cable supplying power to a ground box @construction sites for temp usage. In the box is a panel board w/ individual branch circuits (gfci)protected.
Now correct me if I am wrong (and i cant explain exactly why ) but when a circuit is gfci'd 2x it does not operate.

Hi,

Don't have a code book handy, so I don't know which section you're referring to.

I've seen many instances where multiple GFCIs can be on the same circuit with no problems at all. For instance a Hairdryer might have a GFCI on it (could be other things too) and is plugged into a GFCI receptacle. Hot Tubs often have built-in GFCI protection and protection on the circuit too.
