310.12(B) feeder vs Tap

Does anyone see an issue with using table 310.12(A) to size wire supplying a mobile home when the source is an existing tap box fed from utility/generator transfer switch

There is no overcurrent protection between utility and tap box, the generator position of the transfer switch acts as the service disc. for the farm

For the sake of this thread, let’s consider it service rated
like I said, there’s no overcurrent protection, no breaker just straight utility or generator Knife switch

You can use the table assuming it is single phase. You will need overcurrent protective device at the service not more than 30' +- away from the home.
