Hey can anyone tell me if there is a proposal to change this artical for the life of me I can`t see the problem or have I ever had a problem this is really cramping my style.I rough in a house leave my 2" conduit in and come back later after sheet rockers finish and pull my hvac circuits I staple the wires where they leave the pipe so in no way can a pull on the wires pull out a breaker.Thats been common practice here for years.
ps the pipe is sealed when I`m done.We have lots of smaller homes where just put outdoor panel in a and run the circuits from panel down throgh LB and into the crawl space.I guess now you`d have to put a troff of some sort with nm connectors?

There were a few proposals to make a change to 312.5(C); however, the panel voted unanimously to reject them. During the comment stage, no one felt a comment was worth submitting so the panel could not address the issue at that time.
