Does 314.23(E) say that an LB (conduit body with threaded hub entries) only need to be supported on one side by rigid metal conduit? Example: I have an LB on a transformer with a close nipple and myers hub on one side going into the xfmr and a tmc connector out of the other side that has mchl which is supported 12in. from the connector. Mchl is not a rigid metal conduit and the other side of the LB is secure to the transformer via myers hub. It has been suggested that I would need to install a close nipple and coupling or rigid nipple before the tmc connector and support the coupling or nipple so that both side of the LB meet 310.23. What about running liquid tight to the LB. I've done that before without supporting the LB on the liquid tight side?
