I have installed many larger size j boxes as a pull body in the past and never been challenged by inspectors. This time he wants some calculation. so I go to the 314.28.... I normally use angle pull 3" conduits (x2) so, 3"x6 plus 3", then, min. width of the box as 21. so I got 24"x24"X12". but what I always thought of it and never being challenged was that fact that the two conduits coming into the box is from the back of it (which means that it only has 12". is this a problem? can anybody verify that it is ok, if so where in the code saying that is ok? Thanks!
