Can the FMC run exceeding 6' provided with additional supports like this?

IMO, Not only can lengths over 6 ft not be installed in this manner without fastening, lengths less than 6 ft would need to be secured.

Taking a closer look at the picture I may amend my 6 ft or less statement.
Could that area be classified as an accessible ceiling after construction so that Exception 4 would apply ?
(In direct answer to your over 6 ft question I would say "securing required" and as mentioned, the plan may be to secure it to the rod. Interesting install and I just realized we might be looking above a ceiling)

Yes we are in ceiling but no false ceiling required in this room
