Is there any reason that a typical North American thermal magnetic breaker (eg SQ. D FAL) could "not be used" as overcurrent protection for a 380 V 3ph 50 Hz load. The breaker here would be a 480V 3 ph breaker with required current rating. The 50 Hz is my concern, will it affect the coil of the magnetic portion in the breaker?

This is for use as HVAC OCPD , equipment is being installed in China, and the end user wants to follow NEC where possible/practical.

I am looking at a Cutler Hammer BAB 3 pole breaker, no where is a frequency listed on nameplate.

Thanks
