When using rods and/or strut to support a run of cable tray, does article 392.6 (J) (2005 NEC) prohibit support of other conduits to the same rods and/or strut?

Bob, welcome to the forum. As long as the raceway is fastened to the strut and not to the cable tray, you can run the raceway along with the cable tray in both commercial and industrial location. In industrial facilties where they have a comprehensive maintenance program, you can use the cable tray as the support for the raceway, if they don't then it is not allowed but you can still use the strut for the cable tray for the support of the raceway providing you meet the support requirements of the article for the type raceway being used.
