I can't seem to remember how to calculate 1 phase ranges . 8-12 kw ranges all fed from the same 208 volt 3 phase feeder. Can someone help this feeble memory.
You calculate on the bases of twice the number that are connected between any two phases. For 3 ranges, there would be 1 connected between any two phases and you would use a load equal to twice that of a single range. If you add the 4th range, than two phases would have two ranges connected and you would use a load equal to 4 times that of a single range.

But the examples that Dennis pointed two will probably be much easier to understand than the code language.
