I have heard the terms "2100 box" and "11-B" to describe a 4-11/16 box.

Never heard of a "5S" until this thread ... :-?

11-B is a new one
I've heard 2100 for 4-11's and 2104 for 4-square boxes around here, but that's mostly the older guys (55+)

We all know that the 1/8" makes up for the thickness of the can. When I first git in the trade we called it 1" and 1-1/2" unistrut.
Now most guys in the supply houses call it deep and shallow unistrut.
I worked with an older guy from PA that called it Kindorf.

They used to actually make 1" strut (not sure if they still do). Now it seems that 3/4" and 1.5" are the two most widely used standard sizes.

Maybe we should become a self-policing forum: Post something really terrible, then immediately delete it ourselves.
Remember when there was a much longer "Edit" time limit - if I remember right it was days.... So then you could not only edit hokey posts out yourself - but completely change points of an auguement....
