I was thinking JUNO IC1R. Anyone know if those clips will work on 1.25 of thickness?

Why is there 2 layers of 5/8"? Its usually for fire ratings in which case installing standard recessed light is a no no.

I dont think its fire rated, I think its for sound.

You might want to look at air-tight housings.

I guess I should have clarified that I was referring to Juno brand.

Odd I cant find a IC1R anymore......everyone just has the IC1RLED only.......Looks like I can get a TC1R and just push the insulation away a bit.

If you just bend the clips open more they should work
