Hey Guys, I repairing a service lateral down here in new orleans where a car hit a customers service. The service conductors came ok except for a nick down to the copper. I'm trying to find out what's the best product for insulation repair. The copper isn't damaged but I do need to do something about the conductors. Thanks.

A 3M Cold Shrink would work too.

I'll hazard a guess that the OP wants to do the repair in place without having to disconnect and repull the conductors..

You're probably correct, I suggested the cold shrink if tape was unacceptable as Golddigger had mentioned.

Super 88. Done.

Maybe a little Scotch Kote too, just because I keep it on the truck. Depends on my mood I guess.:D
