40 amp circuit wire mold

Im looking to run a 40 amp circuit to a instant water heater in wiremold.Supply house tells me 3000 series.Anyone have a beter sudgestion?

3000 is way overkill, I would think 2000.

You could also consider non-metallic depending on the conditions.

You can check the catalog for dimmensional data, but, unless I made a mistake, you could actually use as small as 700 for one 40 amp circuit.
In any event, as Bob states, 3000 is way overkill

I think you are right, you could use 700 ....... I am just not sure I would want to. I think it might be hard to work with.

Do you have a wiremold catalogue, if not you need to get one. Supply house people are not the best source of information, they even have a driving motivation to sell you more than you need, it's called profit.
