400 Amp bid

[hey_poolboy]

Alright, I'm throwin' this out for thoughts.
I don't often do 400 a service, and I just want to make sure I'm not out of line on this bid.

Details:
EDIT: single phase
Overhead service
500MCM up pole
two d-cons
two 75' runs to house and machine shed 4/0 AL URD
existing service pole

I'm at $3218

Only you know your particular costs of doing business. Some guys would make out like thieves at that price, and others would lose money.

In my area your at least 2500 for the material. Ive got a guy who provides the material and I do it for 1200 labor only. 30% markup on material your at $4750 for the install.

Maybe I should increase my mark-up. I use an ascending/descending scale, and I think my average on materials for this one is 22%.
