400a top fed electrical wire size

Hello,
Trying to figure what size wire is needed for a 400a top fed meter main combo.

From everything I've researched it looks like 500-500-350 aluminum wire is this correct?

Kinda confused because the power company looks like they used a smaller gauge wire, 4/0 ground and not sure on size of other feeders,in the same panel but bottem fed.

Any and all info is greatly appreciated
