This exception in the 08 code allows flip style cover plates to be used in applications subject to routine high-pressspray washing. My question, is an interior location where the area is deemed wet location because the area is to be washed down but will probably be by hose, would this exception apply?
I would prefer the flip style as they provide better protection than the while in use. If you look at the different ratings, while in use is NEMA 3R yet the flip style is IP44. However, is hose spray high-pressure, no definition.
