Hello everyone;

I am difficult to image the contents of 408.3 (D) Terminals.:mad:

"(D) Terminals : In switchboards and panelboards, load terminals for field wiring,
including grounded circuit conductor load terminals and connections to the ground bus
for load equipment grounding conductors, shall be so located that it is not necessary to
reach across or beyond an uninsulated ungrounded line bus in order to make connections."

Please, spend your time to help me.:D

Thank you.

The terminations for connecting grounded and grounding conductors have to be located in a manner that you don't encounter an energized buss attempted to reach them.
The buss work, i larger gear especially, is exposed once the cover is removed and, prior to this section of the Code, some manufacturers mounted grounding terminals behind that buss so reach those you had to weave your hand/wire through the energized buss..
not that anyone ever worked on a switchboards energized.
