Am I reading this right? I think that it says that you don't have to support
2x4 trophers with anything but listed clips or mechanical support to the ceiling frame. i.e. no jack chain or 10ga. wire.:-?

The building codes also have requirements for seismic supporting of 2X4 troffers, so I would check with the local building department for any local building code requirements.

Yes the fixtures are to be secured to the ceiling grid however the type of the ceiling & the way the ceiling grid is secured it maybe required to be supported by other means & in some jurisdictions & in the specs. of the job it maybe required by the building department to support the fixtures by wire or chains etc...
