424.35 Marking of heating cables

So I think this is a specification for manufacturer indicating:

1 120 V Yellow
2 208 V blue
3 240 V red
4 277 V brown
5 408 V orange

Is this standard used for just heating cables or these colors consistently used for different applications for these voltages?

I'm not sure but that section looks like it applies to ceiling heat. It was all the rage back in the '70's. My boss installed gobs of it so I would say it applies everyone.

It is in no way consistently used for different applications for these voltages. Romex is used for 120V every day and I have never seen yellow insulation on the conductors.
