440.63 has requirements about disconnects for room A/C. #1 states: the manual controls on the room A/C are readily accessible and located within 6 feet of the floor OR an approved manually operated disconnecting means is installed in a readily accessible location within site of the A/C"
My question: if the unit's attachment plug is located higher than 6', and a manual disconnect is not installed, will the remote control be the same as having the manual controls of the A/C unit within 6' of the floor?
