I need to branch off 2 twist lock receptacles from a 60 amp 3p 480v disconnect.

I've found that finding new lugs rated for more than one conductor is not as easy as it sounds.

What is the best method?

Can my combined rated amps of the plugs be more than the disconnect amps as in 120 volt 20 amp residential wiring?

Thanks.

It sounds like you could end up in trouble. The 60 amp disconnect is to protect 60 amp wire and a 60 amp device. If you want to connect two 30 amp twist lock outlets, you need 30 amp protection. The issue is not the lugs; suggest you bring in an electrician.
