I have recently came into situation at my job where a 3 phase 30 amp 480 machine and 120 single phase 20 amp wires going through same conduit, 3/4"emt. Is this legal to the code?
I ask this question due to I was cited by tthe county fire and building inspector about 3 years ago which we were using the 1999 NEC still.
Thank you

Take a look at 300.3(C). If the insulation on all conductors is rated for the maximum voltage of any conductor it is normally legal.
There are situations with some emergency circuits and in Art 725 where it may not be done.
