I am new to this forum or any forum for what its worth, so here goes. I've been checking the code, but cant find a definitive answer on weather voltage is restricted in non dwelling unit kitchen equipment to 240V 1 and 3 phase, or can a 480v 3 phase oven be wired?
Given, a 200A 480V 3 Phase service to the building and a load calculation allowing for the additional load, is a 480V 3Ph convection oven legal by the 2014 NEC to install? Or should a 220V unit be used with a transformer. Ive been looking in article 220, but cant find any language about voltage.
Thanks
