I need to reroute the two main secondary feeders to a hospital preferably through an areaway that is used for two generator cooling air effluent. So I'm not dealing with the engine exhaust, just the cooling exhaust.

I'm told this could get as hot as 110 degrees in the summer with the generators running of course. I'm wondering how concerned I should be about this?

Any input?

Would you derate the cables?

Thanks,

Mike

If these are the normal source feeders, then they won't be energized during the times that the two generators are running. Right? Other than for a short duration, monthly test, the feeders would not be subjected to that high an ambient temperature. My view is that derating is not required.
