Can anyone out there confirm IEEE/ANSI min requirements form megger testing 600V-1000V insulated cable is 100 MegOhms?

Some sources online say as low as 1Meg in passing. The best you can do is compare your results with neighboring conductors. If all the conductors are testing out in the Gigs and you have one at 110Megs, I would say there is probably a failure. I'm not sure they specify a value. I have also heard 100Meg as a rule cog thumb.

When I was working on locomotives and GE was still in the locomotive business they specified 1MegOhm as a minimum. When asked why they couldn't answer other than that is what we do.
This value was for cable rated up to 2000volts
