480V Panel Working Space 110-26????

What are the min working spaces for a 480VAC panel? We have a machine that is being installed. How far must the electrical panel be from the wall?
 
Here is table 110.26(A)(1):

Note: Where the conditions are as follows:
Condition 1 — Exposed live parts on one side of the working space and no live or grounded parts on the other side of the working space, or exposed live parts on both sides of the working space that are effectively guarded by insulating materials.
Condition 2 — Exposed live parts on one side of the working space and grounded parts on the other side of the working space. Concrete, brick, or tile walls shall be considered as grounded.
Condition 3 — Exposed live parts on both sides of the working space.

I'm not sure I follow the question. The "panel" can be attached to the wall; it need not have any clear and open distance behind it. The distance in front that must be left clear will depend on two things. One is the voltage to ground; the other is the nature of the wall (or other surface) on the opposite side of the "working clearance" from the front of the panel. So if this is a 480/277 volt panel (or a 480 volt delta, either way), and if the opposite surface is grounded (very high probability), then the minimum working clearance is 3.5 feet.

It sounds like that is the answer I was looking for. The panel is going to be mounted on the machine. So, with the panel open, there must be 3.5' from the wall to that panel. Thanks.
