So quick question we recently received a new machine that was 240 single phase just two hots and a ground. We had 3 phase 480 in place for old machine so we got a 480x240 transformer.
Now my question is do we need to bond x2-x3 to ground or does it now matter because it's just a 240 machine?
I just question it cause when you check power it's 160v ground on one leg and 60v on the other and I just figured that's because there's no reference back to ground/neutral.
