48VDC contactors

What code section(s) would cover 48VDC contactors, such as might be used to connect and disconnect a telco (okay, it's for a renewable energy system -- but I figure y'all know telco better than wind and solar) battery bank?

There are very few places in the code that deal specifically with DC systems. In the absence of a specific rule, the normal rules apply.
