In figure 5-53 I would have calculated (6x3)+3=21 for vertical dimension by the way I read 314.28(A)2. What am I missing? Thanks

What exam prep book? Most of us don't have those books and have no idea what you were asking about. Members are happy to provide comments and answers, but you have to give us a lot more information.
