Hello,

I am on the 2023 NEC and am doing some studying I can find the requirement for GFCI protection 210.8a for an electric range just want to make sure it’s not required to be AFCI as well still hunting in the code book !

Thanks !

So far AFCI protection only applies to 10, 15 and 20 amp 120 volt circuits when it is required.

10 amps is rather new I think in 2023 NEC. I guess is partly because they are going back to copper clad aluminum being an option and would mostly be something that applied to this being allowed for some branch circuits.
