Code language- Shielded cables and twisted pair cables shall not require the removal of the shielding material or separation of the twisted pairs, provided the termination is sealed by an approved means to minimize the entrance of gases or vapors and prevent propagation of flame into the cable core.
What are some examples of this approved means to keep from having to strip cable jacket all the way back to the seal off so the compound can enclose in and around all the conductors within.
I’m assuming this because I believe I have seen it used, like a heat shrink that has some type of liquid or gel sealing the individual conductors in it once it has been heated?
