To make sure I understand the requirements of the above code reference...
We have aircraft hanger receptacles that are placed in the slab of an aircraft hanger. Being that the above code references C1D1 locations, I would default to 501.10(A)(1).
As noted in the exception of 501.10(A)(1), I can use PVC conduit in earth, under an aircraft hanger (as it is considered a C1D1 location per 513.8(A)) as long as it is encased in concrete per the requirements of the exception.
Looking for confirmation in my reading and understanding of the requirements in 513.(A) and 513.8(A)
