Craig, there is no requirement for this bonding jumper to be in conduit, in fact when flammable anesthesia was used, we would run an open #10 jumper inside the framing around the room to ground all exposed metal surfaces including; window frames, door frames, floor drains, any metal that might be secured into a metal stud, etc...

Note; this section as stated is Optional, and only if it is used would the jumper be necessary.

Yes,it seems to be an option that every engineer wants me to install ,which is ok with me only this time the engineer wants to see this wire in conduit ,I have installed it in conduit on a past job ,but the wire was a Isolation Ground wire and of course no door frames were involved.

Still,conduit is no problem here ,except I am not sure of how or what I will do with the conduit when I get to a door frame ,what I mean is, how to make the connection between the conduit and the frame. :confused:
