A co-worker and I have looked at this extensively and have come to the conclusion that HCF90 mc cable can be used for the Emergency circuit in a Nursing home. 517.30.C.3(1) applys to hospitals only.

Any comments?

As long as 517.40(B) doesn't apply, and 517.45 (B) or (C) doesn't apply, then I would agree.
