555.13 DOCKS bonding of metal parts

555.13 says to connect solid #8 back to "grounding bus in the panel board"
555.2 defines a "marina power outlet" as a panel board.
so i only should need to run from lift to the pedestal correct?

It appears to me to be very similar with the common bonding grid that applies to permanently installed pools. Any metal noncurrent-carrying parts associated with the dock should be connected with a #8 solid cu. conductor. The few docks and boathouses that I have done, I have installed a sub-panel protected by a 2 pole GFCI breaker near the shore. I use PVC (or carflex where needed for flexibility), PVC click straps, and stainless screws. Then bond any noncurrent-carrying metal parts with the #8.
