I've got a service for a facility with multiple tenants and I'd like to come into a "service" distribution panelboard with three disconnects; 225A, 400A and 800A. What is the minimum size of the bus that I must specify for the distribution panelboard? And is it a code issue that the board does not have an OCP upstream of it nor a main CB?

Thanks,

Mike

Single service with multiple disconnects is allowed by NEC for a single tenant or multiple tenants. . Minimum bus size for bus that supplies the 3 disconnects is based on load calcs. . OCPD or disconnect upstream of the service entrance conductors, meter, or main bus bar is not required.
